"The app was more hassle than it was worth"
I tried using the Raise app to buy a gift card, it was frustrating. Pages were taking forever to load, some buttons just wouldn’t respond, and I somehow got logged out twice, right in the middle of trying to check out. The search felt clunky too, which made the whole thing even more annoying. I ended up giving up, and just using the website instead. The mobile app, at least for me, wasn’t worth the hassle.

"Login issues make it hard to rely on"
I’ve had way too many frustrating moments trying to get into my Raise account. Sometimes the page just spins and won’t load, and other times it tells me my password is wrong when I know it isn’t. Then when I try to reset it, the email either takes forever or never shows up at all.
It’s especially annoying when I’m standing there trying to use a gift card and can’t even get into my account. Reaching out for help doesn’t make it feel much better either, because it kind of feels like I’m just another ticket number waiting in line. I really don’t feel like I can trust the login to work when I need it.
"I had a really hard time trying to…"
I had a really hard time trying to redeem this card, and it was frustrating. It feels like something that should be simple and straightforward, especially after someone has already paid for it. At the very least, customers deserve clear instructions and a process that actually works without a hassle.
"I tried to buy a gift card and…"
I tried to buy a gift card and got stuck in some verification loop. I sent over what they asked for, but I’m still locked out. Support keeps giving me the same copy-paste answers, and it’s not even clear who actually owns the issue or is supposed to fix it. it’s way more trouble than it’s worth

"I had an issue with my gift card..."
I had an issue with my gift card and emailed support with the receipt attached, but I didn’t hear anything back for days. I kept checking my inbox and still never got a real answer. Frustrating experience, and I don’t think I’ll use them again

"Payment went through fast, but the order took forever"
I used raise to buy a gift card, and the payment process was kind of frustrating. My card was charged almost right away, but the order just sat as pending for a long time and there wasn’t much info about what was going on. Support did eventually respond, but it felt slow, and I kept having to check back myself. It did work out in the end, but the whole wait made me hesitant to use it again unless I really need to. Has anyone else had the same issue with orders getting stuck pending?

"Not really worth it for the price"
I was hoping this would be a better deal, but most of the gift cards cost almost the same as buying them directly. I do not really see the point if there is barely any savings

"Nice-looking service, but the balance was wrong"
The Raise card looked fine at first and the site is easy enough to use, which is great if the card actually works. My balance showed one amount, but at checkout it came up lower. Support basically said the balance can change and there wasn’t much they could do. Frustrating, and I wouldn’t use it again unless they do a better job checking balances before selling the cards.

"Payout took way too long"
I sold a gift card thinking the payout would be quick, quick, but it basically just sat there. The status barely changed, and I kept checking my email over and over like I was missing something. Maybe other people have had better luck, but mine took way longer than I expected. For the fee they take, waiting and waiting for my money was frustrating. I don’t think I’ll use Raise again

"I bought a gift card and…"
I bought a gift card and when I tried to use it, it came up as invalid. I reached out to support, but they were really slow to respond, and I still haven’t gotten my money back

"Wish the fees were explained earlier"
I didn’t realize there were extra fees until I got to checkout, which was frustrating. I expected the costs to be laid out more clearly upfront so I knew what I was agreeing to before getting that far

"Promo code didn’t work again"
I tried using a promo code at checkout and, i kind of expected it not to work because this seems to happen every time. It’s frustrating when they keep showing codes that don’t actually apply.

"The savings felt too small to bother with"
I tried Raise a few different times, the savings were so tiny that I kept wondering why I was even going through the extra steps. Like, after checking the card amount, copying the code, making sure the balance matched, and then doing the math, it was only saving me a couple bucks at best. A couple of the cards also gave me issues, which made it even more annoying. I was expecting better deals, but the whole thing ended up feeling kind of pointless.

"Works fine, just a little clunky"
I’ve used Raise.com a few times, and overall it’s easy to use. Finding gift cards is straightforward, and checkout usually doesn’t take too long. It’s not even about the site being hard to use or anything like that, it does what it’s supposed to do. It’s more that some pages feel a bit slow, and a few of the filters don’t work as smoothly as I’d expect. One time my cart looked weird and I had to refresh to get it back to normal. Not a bad site at all, just not the smoothest experience. I’d still use it, but the layout could definitely feel less clunky

"Not Much to Choose From"
I was disappointed with the selection. There just wasn’t much that caught my eye, and the few options available didn’t really make me feel confident about the quality either.

"I bought a gift card on raise..."
I bought a gift card on raise because the price seemed decent, but the terms and restrictions were not explained clearly enough. It felt like some important details only became obvious once I was already close to checking out, which was frustrating.
Support did respond when I asked about it, but the tone kind of made me feel like it was my fault for not figuring everything out beforehand. I still had to dig around on my own to understand what the card could actually be used for. It’s not the worst site, but they really need to make the rules clearer before someone buys.

"Left Me Feeling Uneasy"
I had a rough experience with the security checks and fraud support. Every response felt like a copy-paste answer, and it didn’t really seem like anyone was taking a closer look at what was going on. When it comes to money, that kind of thing sticks with you. I don’t think I’d feel comfortable using it again.

"Card didnt work and support was no help"
I bought a gift card that wouldnt work, and dealing with support was frustrating. They just kept passing me around instead of actually fixing it. The guarantee sounded good at first, but the refund took way too long and the issue still wasnt really resolved. I dont plan on using Raise again.

"Payment kept failing"
I tried to make the payment twice and it failed both times. i’m getting tired of having to deal with these little service issues when I just want to get things done quickly. Not a great experience
